When I joined St. Anthony's School , Devnagar in 2009, as the first and new 'workplace', I was not aware what to expect. Now after being a part of the Anthonian family for 15 years, I am glad that I made the right decision. I received positive support from each section of the school -be it Principal Ma'am, Administration, peer teachers or the support staff. Our strength is our Teamwork and Collaboration. At any given situation you can seek help from your colleagues, as they are extremely supportive and cooperative.
St. Anthony's School is a school filled with warmth, creativity, fun, and friendship. It is a place that is willing to implement innovative programs to create meaningful outcomes for each child in a positive way.
I am grateful to SAS for being able to tap into my potential and giving me the opportunity to grow further in my role as a Teacher.
SAS will always be my 'happy place' – a home away from home.

Hello! I am Saikat Chakraborty, (Assistant teacher), St. Anthony's School, Jalpaiguri. I am working here as a teacher since June, 2007. St. Anthony's School is located at the outskirts of the town where prevails Calm and serene atmosphere. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the busy day to day life of the Town. It is a long journey and I have witnessed how this Educational Institution grew up from a sibling to a matured tree; which now gives shade to twelve hundred plus students.
St. Anthony’s School has achieved success in every field and I should of course, mention the name of one person who has made it all possible through her tiring, hardships and she is no other than our respected Principal Madam, Mrs. Regina Roy Gomes. She is hard working and sincere, mentally very strong, and her positive out-look towards the School and her constant focus for the betterment and up gradation in every field has brought the days of glory for St. Anthony’s School. Her dedication and determination has brought all the members of the institution together. Her positive out look and administrative Capability is an inspiration for the teachers as well as the staff members. I believe, she will surely find her institution one day at the zenith.
Besides academics, St. Anthony's School, focuses on the Co-curricular activities too. It offers dance classes, Guitar classes, Physical training classes, Horse riding and swimming classes. The School believes in all round development – of a student. For ISC (classes XI & XII), the School offers all the three streams : Science, Commerce and Humanities
Its my pleasure and I feel proud to be a member of this Institution. I love to work here and am always ready to give hundred percent from my side. St. Anthony’s School gave me an opportunity to be with the children, to spend some valuable time, to understand them and to nurture them for a better future. I would like to wind up here as words flow out freely when I write about my institution St. Anthony's School, Jalpaiguri.

এই প্রতিষ্ঠানটি আমার কাছে স্বপ্নপুরী। কারণ আমার শিক্ষিকা হিসেবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হওয়ার স্বপ্ন পূরণ করেছে এই বিদ্যালয় । গত তের বছর ধরে আমি এই বিদ্যালয়ের সাথে যুক্ত। সন টা ছিল ২০১০ যখন আমি এই বিদ্যালয়ে বাংলা বিষয়ের শিক্ষিকা হিসেবে যোগদান করি , আমার সকল সহকর্মীরা আমাকে বন্ধুত্ব সুলভ আচরণের মধ্য দিয়ে খুব সহজেই আমার দায়িত্ব গুলি বুঝিয়ে দেন । পেয়েছি বিভিন্ন অসময়ে প্রিন্সিপাল ম্যাম এর সহযোগিতার হাত। এখানে ধীরে ধীরে যত সময় কেটেছে, বুঝেছি এখানকার শিক্ষক, শিক্ষিকাদের এবং প্রিন্সিপাল ম্যাম এর ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের প্রতি যত্নশীল আচরণের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষা দান , যা আমাকেও অনুপ্রাণিত করেছে ।
তাই দীর্ঘ তের বছর এখানে কাটানোর অভিজ্ঞতা থেকে সমস্ত অভিভাবকদের উদ্দেশ্যে বলতে পারি , জলপাইগুড়ি শহরের বুকে এই বিদ্যালয়টিতে আপনার কোলের সন্তানটিকে নিশ্চিন্তে পাঠাতে পারেন, আমরা শুধু ওর শিক্ষার দিকটিই নয়, ভালো মনের মানুষ তৈরী করার বিষয়েও যথেষ্ট যত্নশীল।
আমি ব্যক্তিগত ভাবে এই বিদ্যালয়ের একজন শিক্ষিকা হিসেবে নিজেকে পরিচয় দিতে পেরে গর্বিত । আরও দীর্ঘ পথ চলার বাকি । এই পথে যতই বাঁধা বিঘ্ন আসুক না কেন বিদ্যালয়টিকে উন্নতির শীর্ষে নিয়ে যেতে অঙ্গীকারবদ্ধ থাকতে চাই ।

I have been working in this institution for the last 22 years. Here we teachers try to give our 100% in grooming up a child. Not only do we help the children with their studies, try to guide them and solve their queries and doubts to the best possible way we can but also groom them up to be a better human being and inculcate in them the qualities like discipline, punctuality, behavior, good manners, helping and caring nature which will help them in their future life.
There are various interactive classes being conducted from time to time by different experts and professionals who guide the students in pursuing their future career.
Here in this institution we work as a team we support each other, feel for each other in a very healthy and positive environment.
We have become a family altogether. I am thankful to SAS for giving me this opportunity to be a part of it.
